Management at Colourtex is fully committed to sustaining Environment and Nature.

A dedicated environmental proffesionals at Colourtex has developed and implemented an active environmental management program at all production & waste disposal sites comprising effluent treatment plants, incineration facilities, multiple evaporators and solid waste landfill site which are ISO 14001:2015 certified.

In the past three decades most of the major investments have gone in to strengthening infrastructure of the company promoting Environment Management Program.

Colourtex has developed in-house capabilities to handle all kind of waste generated from the manufacturing process by installing adequate capacity of waste water treatment plants, waste gas scrubbing systems, liquid and solid waste incinerators.

Dedicated government approved TSDF site for solid waste management developed at Colourtex on the guidelines provided by Central Pollution Control Board of India (CPCB) is the first of its kind in Indian dyestuff industry.

In line with the strong conviction of Chairman, employee’s welfare is always on top priority at Colourtex.

Colourtex has developed and implemented Occupational Health and Safety Management Program at all production sites and all of them are ISO 45001:2018 certified.

In order to uphold our commitment to the Health and Safety of our employees, our contracting employees and neighbors, Colourtex has established a set of Health and Safety Standards. The Standards provide the foundation for the Colourtex Health and Safety management system in areas of Health & Safety Management, Process Safety, Employee Health and Safety and Emergency Response. Colourtex Process Safety Management Standards have also been established to ensure Colourtex facility have been designed are operated and maintained in a responsible manner ensuring we comply with or exceed regulatory requirements. These Standards includes principles and requirements for process safety management and for effective emergency response programs, and are aligned with industry practices and Responsible Care^® Guiding Principles. Customized training programs are run by OHS team on all sites at regular intervals to impart knowledge and skills for the work force. OHS team has developed Standard Operating Procedures and Operational Control Procedures to ensure plant & human safety.

Considering to the differences in the various textile standards, Colourtex does not focus on the specific standard but based on the customer need safe and sustainable textile chemicals and dyes are of great importance throughout the textile market – whether fashion, work wear, bedding, towels or technical textiles.
